Simon's response to Nia's death[]
One of the things that irritates me the most about Gurren Lagann's ending was Simon's reaction to her death. He may have known it was coming, but you do not go through all of that and not even shed a single tear. Human emotion does not work that way. If the person I loved was kidnapped, brainwashed, tortured to the brink of death, and then after risking life and limb to save her and losing more than a few comrades I found out she was going to die in a week; I would either spend the rest of my life drinking myself into a stupor or snap and go Joker on the world.Jmf6401 (talk) 01:57, April 16, 2020 (UTC)
Nia and Simon become stars like in Stardust[]
my hope is that when Simon's time is done, he'll be asked by the God(s) of Spiral to become a star (North Star to be exact) and Nia's spirit agrees to become a star with him, with their Asuncion taking place at her grave surrounded by their friends, alive and dead, with the whole universe watching. After it takes place, Nia's grave is remodeled to be her and simon, only it tells of their lives including their ascension. Well?? Justin Holland (talk) 19:05, July 17, 2015 (UTC)
