I love the show and I love the movies, but the story feels like it ended very cleanly and very good, so I don't see a reason for a season 2

Simon used his spiral energy to form like a bridge to every other member of Team Dai-Gurren, so when they say Gurren Lagann fly by, they were able to snap out of it and follow him. it could have also been something like mankind doesn't just want to be happy, they want to do what's right so they saw through the illusions? i
